And it\u2019s perfectly normal. The good news is that with a little preparation and a supportive team, anyone can give a very good interview.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Before the shoot<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>1. Know the topics<\/strong> that will be covered, without memorizing a script;<\/li>\n<li><strong>2. Prepare two or three concrete examples<\/strong>, which say more than generalities;<\/li>\n<li><strong>3. Choose your outfit<\/strong>: solid colors, no small patterns or logos, something you feel good in;<\/li>\n<li><strong>4. Get a good night\u2019s sleep<\/strong> and keep water within reach.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">During the shoot<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>5. Look at the interviewer<\/strong>, not the camera (unless told otherwise);<\/li>\n<li><strong>6. Repeat the question in your answer<\/strong>: \u201cWhat I love about my job is\u2026\u201d;<\/li>\n<li><strong>7. Use short sentences<\/strong> and pause between them;<\/li>\n<li><strong>8. Don\u2019t be afraid to start over<\/strong>: nothing is live;<\/li>\n<li><strong>9. Talk as you would to a colleague<\/strong>, in your own words.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The final tip<\/h2>\n<p><strong>10. Trust the team.<\/strong> The director\u2019s role is to put you at ease, rephrase questions if needed, and select your best moments in the edit. A hesitation, a botched sentence, a laugh: all of that either disappears or turns into an authentic moment.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>Nobody is asking you to be an actor.
