They are often the first images a client or candidate sees of your company. They might as well be good and consistent.

Studio or workplace?

The studio portrait

Plain background, controlled lighting, uniform look: it’s the ideal solution for a consistent series that’s easy to update when new people join.

The environmental portrait

In your offices, workshop or shop, the portrait tells more about what you do. It’s livelier and more authentic, but needs a bit more preparation to keep the images consistent.

Many companies combine both: an “official” studio portrait, plus a few images in context for the website and social media.

Preparing your employees

Let them know a few days ahead and explain how the photos will be used;

Suggest plain clothing, without big logos or overly busy patterns;

Align the level of formality of outfits across the team;

Provide a mirror and a few minutes to get ready;

Reassure them: a good photographer guides posture and expression.

Keeping a consistent look

Same framing, same background, same lighting, same colour treatment: consistency is what gives your team page a professional look. Think about future hires too: a simple, repeatable setup lets you add portraits as you recruit, with no break in style.

Light makes all the difference

Soft, well-placed light flatters faces, softens features and adds depth. It’s often what sets a professional portrait apart from a snapshot. Softboxes, reflectors and well-controlled natural light are a portrait’s best allies.

A good portrait doesn’t just show a face: it makes you want to work with that person.

Think about uses from the session onwards

A single portrait should be croppable to a square for LinkedIn, a landscape format for a website or a vertical one for a brochure. Leaving a bit of space around the subject when shooting makes all these variations easier.

At that dog, we run corporate portrait sessions directly at your premises, with professional lighting and a uniform look for your whole team.

A content project for your company?
Let’s talk: we’ll suggest a format suited to your objectives and your budget.
Request a quote →
[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column]
 [/et_pb_row]
 [/et_pb_section]

Studio or workplace, preparing your employees, visual consistency, uses: our advice for professional portraits that showcase your teams and your image.

[29
65,81
post-564","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-non-classe-en","tag-employer-brand","tag-photography
<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.6 -
