Images therefore have to do all the work: show, reassure, create desire. That’s the role of the packshot, the product photo or video shot in a studio.

The different types of packshots

The white-background packshot

Essential for e-commerce and often required by marketplaces, it presents the product in a neutral, sharp and faithful way. It’s the foundation of every product page.

The styled packshot

The product is placed in a setting that evokes its use, its world or its ingredients. More emotional, it’s ideal for social media, banners and campaigns.

Details and close-ups

Textures, materials, finishes, labels: close-ups answer the questions buyers ask themselves and highlight the quality of manufacture.

Product video

Rotation, camera movement, in-use scenes, demonstrations: a few seconds of video add a dimension that photos alone can’t, and capture more attention on social media.

Light, the key to a good packshot

Glass, metal, glossy or transparent materials: every product reacts differently to light. Lighting a bottle, a piece of jewellery or a package well takes suitable equipment (softboxes, spotlights, diffusers) and real know-how to control reflections and shadows.

One session, many uses

Product pages on your e-commerce site;

Marketplaces and resellers;

Social media posts and stories;

Online advertising campaigns;

Catalogues, brochures and printed materials.

By planning these uses in advance, a single session can produce photos and videos in the right formats for every channel.

A beautiful packshot doesn’t just show a product: it conveys its quality.

How to prepare your session

List the products and references to be photographed;

Provide products in perfect condition (no scratches or damaged labels);

Define the formats each platform expects;

Share your brand guidelines and examples of images you like;

Let us know if you also want short videos.

At that dog, we have a packshot set and professional lighting equipment (Astera tubes, COB lights, Chimera, softboxes) to showcase your products in both photo and video.

A content project for your company?
Let’s talk: we’ll suggest a format suited to your objectives and your budget.
Request a quote →
[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column]
 [/et_pb_row]
 [/et_pb_section]

White background, styled scenes, close-ups, moving video: how to get great product visuals for e-commerce, marketplaces and social media.

[29
63,85,81
post-571","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-non-classe-en","tag-advertising","tag-packshots","tag-photography
<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.6 -
