A client evening held alongside an international tunnelling congress, to showcase Vinci Construction’s innovation underground.

01 — The challenge

Making the underground speak differently.

On the occasion of the 15th international congress of the French Tunnelling and Underground Space Association, Vinci Construction hosted its clients at a cocktail dinner.

The aim: to assert that the company remains a key player in underground construction, without falling into a classic corporate evening.

How do you let guests in evening wear experience the underground world?
How do you show technical innovation without reducing it to plans and figures?
How do you keep a record of a set design that only exists for one evening?

This is where That Dog steps in.

02 — The goal

Impress, without jargon.

The evening had to:

showcase the company’s expertisebring an underground world to lifeblend construction-site tradition with digital technologyentertain clientsleave a strong memorykeep a record in pictures
Our approach

Not just filming an evening.

Making people feel they are going underground.

03 — The concept

“Underground and Digital”.

For the evening, the Elyseum, an unusual venue in Paris’s Golden Triangle with white walls ideal for projection, was transformed. Guests entered through a custom-made printed lycra tunnel evoking an underground worksite. Inside, 360° video mapping covered the walls, and the activities mixed virtual reality on HTC Vive headsets, from archery to lightsabers and sensory rides, with a green-screen photobooth.

The evening at a glance

Our role: filming the event.

04 — What we created

The evening, on film.

The film

Vinci Construction, underground and in the spotlight

05 — The result

An evening that makes the underground visible.

Clients experienced the underground world in an immersive setting, and the company now has a film to extend the evening.
